Nelson E. Báez is a Spanish-speaking attorney who focuses his practice on helping victims injured in car, bicycle, motorcycle and trucking accidents as well as wrongful death and premises liability cases.

This rating considers an attorney’s ability and ethics, as well as the confidential opinions of members of the bar and judiciary. This honor is only bestowed on lawyers who exemplify extraordinary legal proficiency and adhere to a strict code of ethics. Since 2018, Nelson has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star. This designation is limited to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Florida. Additionally, Nelson has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 under 40 since 2016. As a prosecutor, Nelson was recognized in 2012 with the Distinguished Service Award for Prosecution from the Traffic Safety Committee of Palm Beach and 2011 as County Court Prosecutor of the Year.

His family is deeply rooted in the practice of law on the island, highlighted by his grandfather (and mentor) who was an attorney for over 50 years in Aguadilla, and his great-grandfather who was a judge in Mayaguez.
