Jeff Martz is an experienced trial attorney who centers his practice in the field of Personal Injury by assisting victims of motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases.
Before representing victims in personal injury cases, Jeff fought for justice on behalf of victims in criminal cases as an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach. While at the State Attorney’s Office, Jeff supervised other prosecutors as Chief of his County Court division, before moving on to prosecute serious felonies. Jeff obtained guilty verdicts ranging from simple battery to aggravated assault with a firearm.
Prior to serving as an Assistant State Attorney, Jeff served his community as a Police Officer with the City of Boca Raton. During his time as an officer, Jeff received numerous commendations from members of the Boca Raton community, as well as accolades from the Boca Raton Police Department. He also served on the executive board for the Boca Raton Fraternal Order of Police.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida State University and received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating cum laude and in the top 15% of his class. He also received the Pro Bono Certificate of Excellence for his volunteer work while enrolled at the University of Florida.
Jeff comes from a family of service, with his father (and mentor) having served Palm Beach as an Assistant State Attorney and Circuit Court Judge for over 20 years, and Jeff’s mother as a docent for the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys coaching and playing sports, auto mechanics, and most of all spending time with his wife, Alexandria, three dogs (Fox, Lulu, and Moose), and cat (Mrs. Biscuits).
