Are There Alternatives to Litigation in a Florida Personal Injury Case?

Back to Videos

Video Transcript

Yes, not every individual that is the victim of a car accident, of a defective product, of medical malpractice has to file a lawsuit and has to go through a jury trial. Anytime somebody is the victim of an accident, we try to get the matter or the case resolved before litigation even has to commence by way of a demand letter or a demand package, or if we have to get into litigation, we’ll be ordered by the court to go to mediation. Possibly, at mediation, the case could resolve or if not at mediation, perhaps even before the case goes to a jury trial. The opportunity to resolve a case by an amicable settlement or resolution is always available to the victim before a jury trial.
